Plus, if you have influenced the SAPD enough, you could integrate them back into the SPD.

I could add that for the ministries you don't own, there's a special card that allows you to influence the SAPD into carrying out the policies you want to carry out at the price of 1-2 party resources.

I just used the Sandbox mode, raised SPD support enough that all other parties get less than 5% popularity and passed a constitutional reform.

Understandable; I had thought that Adenauer was a compromise candidate between the factions in the Center Party since none wanted the other to have the leader of the other faction to be the presidential candidate and ended agreeing to run another candidate.

I'm writing this comment because I'd like to know the reasoning behind the Center party running Konrad Adenauer as its presidential candidate instead of Ludwig Kaas or Joseph Wirth or Joos (depending on who's the leader of the Center party).

It's good to know you're working on the next update, the rare thing was that you were taking over 20 days when (usually) updates released at least after 2 weeks.

You can't necessarily form a progressive coalition government and its only function is for passing — you guessed it, progressive reforms.

I could suggest that (at least on easy mode) if you have a cooperative enough judiciary, Hitler wouldn't be allowed to become a German citizen by the time of the presidential elections, and thus, still capable of being deported after said elections (maybe he'd get deported when he tries to get the German citizenship since he's a criminal and a foreigner?).

Edit: The civil war started after I attempted to form another Popular Front after already having formed one.

The Nazis couldn't stand a Second Popular Front being formed.
